How Fix Your Bill works

You do not need to be good with computers to use Fix Your Bill. If you can take a photo, you can do this. Here is the whole thing, start to finish.

Step 1. Show us your bill

Take a photo of your electricity bill, or upload the PDF if you have one. Every page, if there is more than one. That is all we need. We read your usage, your rates and your billing period straight off it.

Your bill is read once and never stored. We keep the numbers we read, only if you ask us to save them, and never the bill itself.

Stop guessing. Read the bill.

A photo or a PDF is enough. We read your usage, tariff, rates and supply charge, then price every plan you can actually get. Estimates, not quotes, with the working shown.

Step 2. Check what we read

We show you what we found: your retailer, your billing period, how much power you used and what it cost. If anything looks wrong, tap it and fix it. Then we ask four quick questions: solar panels, home battery, life support equipment, concession card. Each one has a plain explanation of why we ask.

Step 3. See your real comparison

We price every available energy retailer in your state against your actual usage. Not an estimate for your postcode. Your numbers. The list shows the cheapest plans for your household first, and every plan shows its working, so you can check any number against your own bill.

Step 4. Switch, if you want to

Found a better deal? The sign up takes about two minutes, because most of the form is already filled in from your bill. Your new retailer handles the whole changeover. Nothing happens to your power. Nobody visits your house. The lights stay on.

What it costs you

Nothing. Some retailers pay us when you switch to them. That never changes the order of the list. Every available retailer is shown, paid or not, ranked by your maths.
